If I really had to dig for a complaint - one of the holes they drilled hit the lip of the under-mount sink, but they didn't cut through it. When I was mounting my faucet, I had to grab the rotozip and clean it up. However, based on all of my interactions with Stoneway - if I had called Kevin, he probably would have turned the truck around and come back to fix it.

Thank you so much for working with us. You made it a great experience! If we build again-we will let our friend know.

We renovate houses for a living and work with many contractors, and Kevin at Stoneway has been the worst. We went with him because he seemed professional (until he got half down) and he gave us the best price for our marble counters and two vanities. This was a huge mistake. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more somewhere else, for professionalism and a job done right. We had missed appointments, calls not returned, and mismatched slabs of marble from different lots trying to be sold to us. We were told two weeks for the material and it took six, and that was only because I kept calling. As soon as they had the down payment, it all became a run around. We received a call on installation day, after their scheduled arrival time, cancelling the install because they weren't finished cutting and polishing the stone. My husband had taken the day off so he lost a days pay and we had no kitchen sink for three days. Kevin thought it was funny and actually laughed about it, no apology. I told him to call Monday before the install because I expected a discount for the same day cancellation and it's inconvenience, but his workers just showed up and I never received a call from anyone. The workers damaged the wall of my bar because they didn't bother to score the counter before taking out the old counter, so it will need patched or trimmed out to cover the damage. But the worst of it is, they installed one vanity without the ordered back splash, and the second vanity back splash is an inch short. Now we have walls in need of major patching where the old back splashes had been removed, and both bathrooms rooms will have to be completely repainted. I was not told about this issue until after they installed the vanities and I asked when they were going to do the back splash. I was told they had ran out of material (it had been scrap) so that was all they had been able to do, but they never notified us of this at any point. After all of that, and more, I was given a bill for the full price, including both 4 inch back splashes. The marble is beautiful, but we had done a layout together with the CNC guy so certain parts of the marble would be highlighted. Of course this layout was completely disregarded when they actually cut the slabs, and now some of the prettiest parts of the stone are were they can hardly be seen. I did not even bother to deal with Kevin again. I took the back splashes and 10% off of the bill and included a note with my check as to why. I never heard from Kevin again.

My wife and I LOVE our new granite counter tops in our kitchen. I am so impressed with how easy the entire process was. I am sure that everyone is just as pleased as we were.

Every employee that I had contact with treated us with a great amount of respect. They were thorough, gave us all the time we asked for and let us look over the materials and talk about them privately. They showed up when they said they would. They returned calls and emails promptly. I really wish I could give these guys 6 stars.

We shopped around at 5 different places for our granite counter tops. Stoneway quoted us the lowest price and for a higher end material compared to the competition. About 2 weeks later, we decided to move. When I called Kevin & Karen, they had someone out to template our kitchen 7 days later. 7 days after that, the installation was completed.

Some other people have said some pretty negative things about Kevin. We had him stop by our house for a consultation on our marble vanity top. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. Best of all, he didn’t charge us for the consultation or try to sell us anything we didn’t need. Thanks, Kevin!
