The cashier was surprised to find out other stores have the food card holder enter the 16 digits on the card, if it doesn't work when swiped. My card was issued to me back in 1993, when I worked 40 + hours a week. And wasn't embarrassed to use it. I was thankful to have the privilege to have it. Well I haven't been eligible to receive them since 2003. I let my caseworker know that I still have the same card, and it doesn't swipe. He said that's fine, just manually enter your card number. Alrighty then. Step up Walmart! Lol
This Walmart is decent, with stocked shelves and great prices. Employees are available to help make your shopping trip a success. Most of the time the bathrooms are clean.
I understand Christmas Eve is hectic. But what doesn't help is when, with one hour before your early closing time, you shut down the ten self checkout lanes. This forced everyone into the two or three lanes with a cashier. My wait time went from two minutes to twenty. That made no sense to me. It actually seemed they went out of their way to slow everyone down. Probably company policy, but it is a very regrettable one.
Was kinda frustrated that there were no blue baskets for me to use. I asked someone where they were and she said that they were around but that they didn't have a lot of them left because people steal them. Come on folks please be a respectable citizen and either bring it back if you have one, or be a respectable citizen and don't take it in the first place please. Thank you and God bless you.
Overall a good store for it's prices. It has everything you could think of and more. Just wish the baby section for clothes had more selection.
