Clueless cashier & kitchen staff. Highly disappointed in the employees. Speedy Cafe was steaming garbage, really wishing I had my $5 back and not food poisoning. Don't recommend going here if hospitality is something you expect as a consumer.
Seriously, enough is enough with your rewards card. You can't check out or purchase your items without a sales pitch from a cashier. What do they get a commission if you sign up? I literally told the cashier I wasn't interested in the rewards program the other day and she gave me a card anyway! ! News flash...... not everyone wants to join the Speedway rewards program, quit pushing it on people so hard. Guess I'm going to go back to old reliable, Meijer.
Best gas prices. Always the lowest around. Maybe because it's new. All pay at the pump. Ask for Speedy rewards card and get 10 cents off per gallon. Can't see the gas price sign from US 31 until your passing the intersection.
This has been a great experience since it first opened up! Tonight around 11pm the kitchen staff was rude, inconsiderate of the fact that we waited over 20 minutes for 2 drinks and there was only 1 person waiting so not busy. Not only did the guy nicely fix it figuring I am only paying 2$ for the drinks. I addressed to the lady it did not taste right and it was kind of a shrug on the shoulder like she didn't care she just didn't want to deal with her job. As both drinks were thrown away after we left. Very sad customer service! Very good staff there but the lady in the kitchen....not so much.
I just finished eating 2 bacon cheese burgers and an order of the speedy spuds(tater tots). WOW! Very good, and only 8 bucks. 5 people working at 2 am. Very clean, and ultra friendly employees. Gas is .10 cheaper with a speedy card, so I picked up 1 of those as well(I walked there), otherwise I would have filled up. Will be returning to try the pizza, and 12 in. subs.
