D&W is a great place to gourmet food shop. It's a step above Meijer way above. One can find items here which one would only find in specialized stores. The beer, wine and liquor section is in my opinion the best in the local area. The deli counter is stocked with Boars Head cold cuts. The produce section is top notch also, always fresh and eye appealing. They also have prepared food from chicken & ribs to panini. The bakery while acceptable needs a pastry baker and bread maker, I've always thought it the weak or lacking dept but than again I'm from NJ so finding good bread outside of my local area is almost impossible. The staff is always polite, helpful and attentive.
If one only considers money or cost of there shopping food shopping trips, they shouldn't shop here. D&W can be a little pricey.
The store is always clean, parking is easy to find. During the day they have a fantastic fresh salad bar with a very nice Deli. With a Starbucks, fantastic meat counter, wine selection and organic health food area the store is a must for people who are quality-conscious and don't like large crowds.
Great selection! Great deli, bakery area with all kinds of delicious food to take home. Prices are slightly inflated, or so it seems, but nothing crazy.
This was my first visit to this D & W. Very nice. I was there to get beer, snacks and items for guacamole dip but I got a chance to see their deli and buffet area. Very nice, helpful staff. Olive and salad bar. I will definitely make a trip there again.
Best customer service in the area, with top quality items and sales using your reward cards. Clean and friendly, you might pay a little more, but for me it is worth the price for being treated with respect. Not like the other store...Merry Christmas...1776
