Location was close to Grand haven and very convenient. Clean and comfortable place to sleep. Main lobby is kind of small when trying to get continental breakfast but that isn't a problem if you bring it back to your room.
We had purchased online and when we arrived we checked in, as soon as we walked into the room we were terrified of what we saw, the smell was horrible.. there was toilet paper shoved in the peep hole of the door, stains all over the bedding, it was the absolute worst, the door was covered in dirt and grime.. we immediately left and went down to get a refund and the manager who lied to us about being the manager gave us a terrible look as to why we wanted a refund, he said he could not give a full refund and couldn't see why didn't want to stay there. It was the worst most embarrassing experience we ever had. I would never recommend this place to anyone, the pictures online are not true at all. We wanted our money back, but that did not happen. Instead we gladly paid $150 at the Best Western which was absolutely wonderful to us.
Clean place that is pet friendly. Fairly quiet and easy check in/out. Price wasnt too bad as well for a last minute stay and a dog (there was an additional pet fee). It was an all around nice stay (especially with a pet) for a 2-star hotel.
Great stay for a very reasonable price. Right by downtown Grand Haven and a great continental breakfast! Friendly owners and in the rooms fresh paint and modern decor. We had a great stay.
Location is about a 15 -20 minute walk from downtown. The rooms were alright, the bed was comfortable. Nothing was lacking. The guy behind the bar at Odd Side told us it was where he used to bring girls he picked up and didn't want to to take home.
